The Certificate in Veterinary Physiotherapy is undertaken as a post graduate course through the National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists (NAVP).
Rachel is a keen horsewoman and has been riding since she was 2 years old and living in Pakistan. She got her first horse when she lived in Dubai.
Rachel has two greyhounds and a bengal cal. In her free time, she enjoys hill walking with her husband and the dogs.
Rachel graduated in Zoology from Aberdeen University in 2004. In her final year she studied equine science and animal behaviour.
After graduating she gained her Certificate in Equine Massage (CEMT) and then went on to study veterinary nursing. The nursing syllabus provided further training in animal rehabilitation and physiotherapy.
After gaining her RVN in 2007, Rachel then decided to deepen her knowledge of physiotherapy by studying for a Certificate in Veterinary Physiotherapy.
